Customer Reviews
When I dress for the 18th C i'm usually in uniform but there are sometimes i don't want to look like a soldier and this coat is perfect for that.
It's easier to move in than the wool coat (If I'm cold I can throw on a cloak) and the collar is more comfortable than the coats without a collar.
I have 3 of these with one each in brown, blue and red linen. These are well made and beautiful items
Well worth the price, as the materials and execution are top notch.
Received this coat last week. Wonderful workmanship, style, quality and comfort. Looking forward to wearing it in parades, SAR/DAR dedications and special events. Townsends IS the place to shop.
I ordered a custom Coat. Townsend's customer service folks,
in particular Angelina were wonderful and contacted me several times to sure they had the order right to my specifications. My seamstress, Debbie dis wonderful needle work to produce my coat. Townsends' is the best. I look forward to working with them again as I build out my kit.
