Black Heavy Wool Felt Hat Blank (Lined)
This black Heavy Wool Felt hat body is blocked to size and ready to make into your favorite style. The Heavy Wool Felt is virtual equal in weight to our Premium Fur Felt Hats, but are available at a fraction of the cost. Crown is about 4” high. Due to the different sizes of crown per head measurement, the brim will vary anywhere from 4-1/2” to 5” wide. The larger the size, the shorter the brim will be. Not trimmed, may have ridges with some divots being deeper than others. Prelined with a cotton liner. Works great for many time periods. Can be made into men’s hats to fit 1740’s up to 1840’s. Will make up into tricorns, cocked hats, round hats, flop or slouch hats and many other styles. Available in 20-1/2” (Size 6-1/2) to 24-3/8" (Size 7-3/4). We highly recommend storing your hat on a hat stretcher (HS-2920).
