This is the sort of thing it's hard to review because you kind of hope you won't need it.
I'd ordered a tin with the idea of tossing it in my kit in case of emergencies but best laid plans etc. It was still on the kitchen counter when I cut myself with a freshly sharpened knife. Not a deep wound but messy. I washed and elevated the wound while asking my wife to get a band aid and antiseptic cream.
This was the sort of thing that would soak through a couple of band aids before it stopped and as I stood with my hand elevated waiting for my wife i saw this on the side and thought "why not?" I daubed it on the wound and it acted as a very good seal preventing too much seepage and only one band aid was needed. in a day or two it was fine and today I can only see the mark in my skin if i look for it. So, it works great just for first aid.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 to mark a difference between this and licensed medicinal products.
