Fall Front Trousers in Cotton Canvas
Current make time is 8-10 weeks, please call or email to see what we have available on the shelf.
Although long trousers were worn by some workmen and sailors before the Revolution they didn't come into general use until the 1790's. They are best for 1800-1840 outfits. Made with baggy seat, deep front pockets, adjustable waist and narrow front opening (fall). Preshrunk cotton canvas. Measurements needed: Waist, Thigh, Inseam and color choice. And if the waist size is over 48" please put a rise measurement in the comment box located at the bottom in "my cart". There is a $10.00 extra fee for waist sizes of 48" or larger. These sizes may appear as CX-125 on the packing slip.
**Please note that the thigh measurement you give is only used if it is over what our pattern has. We are not able to trim the thigh down any. Please give us a call or email if you'd like to check the measurement of the thigh on the size you ordering.
Special note: In our continued efforts to be as historically accurate as possible, we have made a few adjustments to the design of these breeches, including the elimination of the center button on the main flap. These changes are reflected in the photo on this webpage.
See our measurement guide for help with obtaining proper measurements.
