1820 Trousers in Canvas

Early 19th century broadfall trousers. These are high waisted with large front pockets and a more fitted seat. Legs are wide cut for ease in doing strenuous work. Pewter suspender buttons attached. Made in your choice of colored cotton canvas. Measurements needed: Waist, Thigh, and Inseam. And if the waist size is over 48" please put a rise measurement in the comment box located at the bottom of "my cart".

**Please note that the thigh measurement you give is only used if it is over what our pattern has. We are not able to trim the thigh down any. Please give us a call or email if you'd like to check the measurement of the thigh on the size you ordering.

Very high quality trousers! Excellent customer service and fast shipping! Would purchase from this store again!

Long wearing and comfortable

I purchased a set of these pants back in 2000 for use at work as a living history interpreter. I wore them several times a week for three years giving tours, demonstrating wood working, cooking in an 18th century cabin, gardening, and blacksmithing.

After leaving that job, I continued to wear these pants as I routinely gave blacksmith demonstrations and continue to wear them to this day. They are greatly faded from original color and I have had to patch it in a few small places, but they still fit and are a joy to wear.

Great pair of trousers

First, I have to say that the trousers I am reviewing were purchased back in 1995 or so. They are well made, comfortable to wear and are very sturdy. I have only worn these half a dozen times since I purchased them, but I found them again today and I am washing them now and will be wearing them when I take my Kentucky rifle out to the range. Now I just need to find the suspenders I purchased back in 1995. My modern suspenders just do not have the same look.
