1754 George II Farthing
The smallest value in British coinage, the Farthing was struck in copper and equivalent to 1/4 penny. This was the last year these coins were issued until 1771, when they were resurrected under the reign of George III. Counterfeits were common due to a shortage of coins. Made of lead-free pewter and copper plated.
