Lovely little item for pocket fillers

I must have received a bad one.

I am truly disappointed by this pouch. When I first opened it earlier today, I was disappointed in the state of the leather. Felt old and dry, but I have leather conditioner for my boots, so no worries. No cracks; completely salvageable. The real issue is that the button on the pouch I was sent sits so low on the body that the button hole on the flap can barely reach it. If anything is in the pouch at all, it will not reach. This makes it unusable for me.
