Horn Spoon

I've seen townsends use this spoon enough on his youtube videos that I finally decided I wanted to get one. Initially eating with something made of horn kinda gave me the heebie jeebies. But now that I have it I love it. It doesn't have a weird smell to it, it basically smells like nothing and it's nicely polished and very smooth. It feels good in the hand too, my only wish is for them to make a teaspoon variant of this with a longer handle. I feel comfortable enough to make this my daily spoon. It also looks really nice and interesting, like a polished gemstone. That's what else made like it. After buying this and a roach belly knife (get one) i feel very comfortable buying from townsends, and trust that they make a quality product that I can keep and hand down to my children.

A well made and attractive spoon for the mess kit.

I bought these spoons after reading the reviews & they are fantastic! The price is right & the two spoons were different colors so it is easy to tell which is my spoon & which is my husbands;) . They will look great with my colonial decor when not in use. customer service is wonderful as well.

The spoon is very pretty and has a nice (largish) bowl, which I appreciate. I’ve used it, so far, for hot tea and cold cereal. I haven’t had any issues with it discoloring or losing shape. It is light weight but feels substantial and balanced in my hand.
