Every day use

Our porridger is used daily and looks as good as the day we bought it. Sometimes used for heating up soup, sometimes used for snacks. It's a little touch of history every day!

Elegant, and the perfect size!

The photos do not do justice to the glaze - the salt glaze gives a lovely golden sheen gradient to half of this handled bowl. The stoneware is a good thickness, and the whole item gives a sense of sturdiness. The thickness also provides decent heat retention.
It is comfortable to hold, and is just about the perfect portion size for my stomach!

Delightful!

I got a pair of these porringers for my wife and I. We both love them! Wonderful craftsmanship, generous size, and very versatile.

We've used them for soup, coffee, and hot chocolate (El Popular!). And, of course, porridge.

I'm planning on making a batch of chili soon and I know exactly what I'll use to serve my spicy stew!

I love my porringer!

It’s a wonderful pottery piece. Now that the weather has turned chilly, I really enjoy sipping something warm from it: tea, cider, even a nice soup. I have several mugs but prefer my porringer. Its a versatile bowl/mug/cup thing.
