Rising through the ranks, he saw action during many battles of the American War for Independence. He Became Commanding officer of the Queen’s Rangers in 1777, about which he wrote in his book Simcoe’s Military Journal. 318 pages of facsimile text.

Awesome Read

I've just finished the Memoir section of the Journal, very interesting man, now I am starting the Journal portion and look forward to learning about the war and see if they have any recipes the soldiers used.
