Spoon Carving Set

This was a gift for hubby and it seems to be very well made. We laughed like silly when we saw it comes with band-aides! Hubby is very happy and is sitting out back carving away.

This is my first carving set and I am amazed at how good they work. The hook knife is very sharp and able too easily make a spoon, and with a bit of work make a bowl. The long knife is good for pulling off larger amounts of material easily. The smaller knife is amazing for smaller places. Extremely useful and fun.

Just got these for Christmas, but so far really impressed by the quality, they come super sharp, the handles are really nice, without any crappy varnish that comes on a lot of tools. They are made in Ukraine, so that signifies good quality to me. I have been carving spoons for many years, but never had tools like these; I think they will be a great boon to me.

Arrived broken (not the wood the actual steel portion of the spoon gouge broke) received full refund, never had a piece of hardened steel arrive broken before, very disappointed in the quality of these pieces.
