1830's Waistcoat

The shawl collar vest was popular from the 1830's through the 1860's. Comes with Pewter buttons. Does not come with pockets. Fully lined. Buckle at waist in back. Made in your choice of wool, linen or cotton canvas. Maximum chest size 48. We are not able to customize this garment any larger than the maximum 48".

Another exceptional garment!

This waistcoat fits my husband like a glove! Ordered this in wool, and both of us could not be happier. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, great job Aimee!

good craftsmanship, mediocre fabric.

I ordered this vest to be made with grey linen fabric. It fits me well but the fabric that was used isn't that great. It has multiple weaving faults all over. I also ordered the 1770s waistcoat in black linen and it was much better. Perhaps the bolt of fabric that was used was just bad. Most people would not notice this though.
