Standard Wool-Felt Hat Blank (Unlined)
This black wool felt hat body is blocked to size and ready to make into your favorite style. Crown is about 4" high and the brim is about 4 1/2" to 5" wide. Edges are not trimmed and inside is unlined. Works great for many time periods - can be made into men's hats to fit 1740's up to 1840's - will make up into tricorns, cocked hats, round hats, flop hats and many other styles.
Available in 20 1/2" (Size 6.5) to 24 3/8" (Size 7 3/4).

As these persons wore different PRINCIPLES, i.e. HATS, frequent dissensions grew among them. There were particularly two parties, viz., those who wore hats FIERCELY cocked, and those who preferred the NAB or trencher hat, with the brim flapping over their eyes. The former were called CAVALIERS and TORY RORY RANTER BOYS, &c.; the latter went by the several names of WAGS, roundheads, shakebags, old-nolls, and several others.
