Colored Linen Thread

Take it from someone who always pops buttons, having the right colored strong thread to repair my damage has been solved by Townsends. Their varied array of strong useful colors comes to the rescue. The spools come in a nice size for stocking military sewing kits with enough thread for several repairs. You can never have too many.

I purchased this thread and it is strong. Before I even used it i applied bee's wax to condition the thread.

Nice little thread here. I got the brown thread to match a repair project I was working on- matched great. I did end up doubling it up- I was fixing a horse bridle- as a just in case, and it worked quite well. Not gonna lie, I'm probably going to get the set of this thread soon, just for the color variety to use with my leather projects. I like the size, I like the spools, I like the slight shine. Only thing I don't like is how easy it is to break with my bare hands- though for most things, that's not too much of an issue. Still 5 stars.

I used a couple of these the day I got them. In my test garment, a single thread was used instead of doubling up. I thought that it would fall apart, but it held. That doubles the value of these threads. Excellent product, excellent seller.
