Handmade Leather Journal

Well made, feels great.

I love the journal, i just wish they had larger versions.

I received this as a gift and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. The color is gorgeous and mellow and I know it will just get more beautiful with time. The paper is beautiful and feels the authenticity of age. It’s bigger than something you would just jot quick notes down but a little bit smaller than what you would use for a journal. I like to experiment making 18th c. Receipts and I plan to use this book to write in my favorites that I make often (compiling a recipe book of my personal favorites). I can’t imagine anyone would be unhappy with this.

I had just received my journal this afternoon, along with my mechanical pencil. The pencil is great, but I want to focus on the journal. The cover is sturdy and you really need to push it down, but I trust it will not crack and so far retains its shape. The paper is quality. I love history and the fact that I am holding a handmade journal similar to that of those long ago is incredible to me. However, there is one thing, the color, I was expecting the darker color in the picture, mine is more oak colored. That is why I subtracted one star.

Overall, this is a quality product, from a team whose heart was put into making it and I am pleased. I only wish it was bigger (fits in your hand). The color in no way upsets me other than I expected the pictured color, everything else is great.
