Stab Awl

This sharp little awl gets the job done and fits nicely into a crafting kit. Any rough work such as bashing with a mallet, though, I reserve for a much thicker and heavier awl of mine.

This is a really good quality awl. I use it all the time for leather work and tons of other projects and despite being used on a regular basis it maintains a sharp point. After about 5 years of regular use I did find it getting a bit dull but that was quickly remedied with some sharpening or more quickly with an angle grinder! I would recommend this tool to anyone who does even basic leather work or just for general use.

I use this item all the time, even though I'm not big in to leather working, I've used it numerous time for sewing, repairs, and shoe fitting. I would highly recommend it!
