Excellent choice

I ordered these breeches to go with an linen waistcoat purchased from Townsends earlier.
As I had done for the waistcoat, I chose to replace the pewter buttons with fabric buttons and am quite pleased with the distinctive look so easily acquired.
The quality of the garments is excellent and the style is historically accurate.
When paired with a frock coat already in my wardrobe, the ultimate look is most acceptable.

Outstanding Customer Service!

I ordered a pair of these and, probably because I measured wrong, they fit badly. After contacting Townsend's, they worked with me until the fit was perfect.

They really care about their customers and I would not hesitate to order fitted clothes from them again.

Well Done!

Nice Breeches in Linen

I got these in blue linen. The fabric is soft and lovely. The quality of the sewing is just as good as the cotton canvas, but I was looking for a fabric that might have been more likely to have been available to a working class family for home sewing in the 18th century.
